What size tire and rims do you have on squishy? And did you lower it at all from stock hieght?

When I get into the big redo on my current vert, I will post some pics as well. Won't be for a bit, have to rebuild my tracker first before the snow comes. I drive a 98 metro during the winter when the weather's not too bad. It's getting a non-leaking gas tank today and then an alignment, then it's good to go and I can take my vert off the road the minute the salt trucks come out.

They are 14" rims...I am not sure what tire size...I think they are 195s, but I don't know the rest. I will be buying a smaller size when these wear out though, as they do rub in certain situations, like going over "jumps" on the highway, and turning with weight in the car...

Its stock height, and I don't have any plans for lowering it, but c4 wants to get the springs from a newer hatch and cut a coil out...we'll see.

I have a Jeep Liberty for my winter car...it used to be awesome when I got it, but has issues now. Kinda sad when a Jeep dealer maintained, always had the oil changed and all that vehicle blows a head....but it does do awesome in the snow!

I would love to get a Chevy Metro hatch, 5 speed for the winter. There is the threat of snow tonight/tomorrow so Squishy had to go into his garage. Hopefully they don't have to salt, or the poor Squishy will be sleeping for a while..or at least until a good rainstorm washes the road...

Or I can just deal with it as it is a very rare occurance because I don't usually have passengers...and I have no issues by myself! I will get a smaller tire when these wear out! I got an awesome deal on the rims and tires cause t3 rocks, so I can't complain!

lets see 6" dip on a road that is marked 65MPH yup thats a jump I know that the car came off the ground at least one time. the roads through boston suck

ya i know. you just don't know boston It really sucks LOL the roads are marked 65 most do about 70 and you realy need to go about 60 to not beat the hell out of your car.

That sounds like all the roads up here. Frost heaves and potholes everywhere.

Once again spring is here and due to some insanely unseasonable weather, the Squishy car lives yet again. It's been a while since I posted.

I handed Squishy over to c4boom to prep for the upcoming driving season. I am finally getting my rear sway bar as I let him have the car for more than an afternoon. He is doing the usual annual oil change, random repairs/improvements, and a radiator flush as I found that I have very icky antifreeze.



When I get the car back, I have a set of 13" Konig rims and Bridgestone Potenza (not the cool ones) tires waiting for me at Town Fair Tire. My current rims/tires will be going to c4 as payment. I was sick of fighting with the car so hard in parking lots with the oversize tires and the rubbing (which c4 said he could solve by rolling the fenders). They were a birthday present to myself. They are not chrome like they look in the pic, more of a brushed aluminum look. I think they will look really sharp. There will be pics of course!

Those wheels look Awesome!!!!!!! I have a set of 195/55/15" on Mangel 5 Star Rims. Once I put a set of KYB-GR2 struts all the way around it fixed the rubbing (except if I hit a huge pot hole). We are still a good few weeks away from Spring weather here in Calgary we got snow last night.

i'll take the winter blankets off my rusty red vert this friday and get it wound up and ready for duty. i'm leaving ol' blue in the garage until after the spring monsoon season has past.

Holy crap, c4boom got the rear sway bar installed and rolled the rear fenders.....what a difference!!!!!! It handles even better than it did before! It is so my little go kart! Pics will be coming, still on my phone.

Who needs a big car to do grocery shopping??


I got a big pack of paper towels, a litter genie, laundry soap, 15lbs of cat chow, 3 12 packs of soda, the car cover, a 5qt oil change jug, 1 qt oil, toolkit, blanket, pillow, juice, snacks in the trunk.


Behind the front seats was about 2-3 weeks worth of groceries.

The fiancé doubted Squishy's ability to be a grocery getter....we proved him wrong lol. It worked out quite nicely.

Oh well, yesterday we used 2 bikes to get some things at the store.

My "custom" basket for my Vespa (yes, I got a Vespa now too! To go with the Fiat, and it matches Squishy quite nicely)

Those trunks are incredible. Especially if you use the space under the top. I can haul an entire week's camping gear including tents, beds, cooler, a big red dog, and 2 people.

The favorite: Red turbo 3 swapped 90 firefly convertible with 3 tech cam and gear running 10psi rolling on 7 spoke GTI rims. Needs paint, a top, and more power, but lots of fun.

Honorable mention: 61 ford falcon money pit, 90 5.0 Lincoln LSC coupe with emotional attachment, supercharged teal 99 F150 for carrying firefly parts, and a black turbo volvo wagon with a dog gate to use every day.

I'm back so big changes squishy is changing ownership so its going to live with me needs a little work but not much take me a day or so. Can i fit a 205 tire on it is the first question? lol

205 tires is really pushing it. i stopped at 195/50 15. 185/60 14 is oem for a swift and those work okay on a vert.
