I am looking for a good source for a 98 1.3L engine rebuild kit.
Also Exhaust manifold source.

I tried to rering a 98+ 1.3 and ran into a brick wall on the ring set locally. They are not the same rings as all the other gseries 1.3L engines which came as a bit of a surprise. Rock auto may come through for you, dnj brand seems like they cover a lot of that stuff now, but make sure to check immediately, and be prepared to keep looking, or perhaps measure rings off the old engine and confirm dimensions before ordering.
Might make sense to just order a set of pistons and rings from ebay(often NPR brand which seems to work well in my experience)

By looking at his website it looks like he retired the G10. Hey fainya, I've got an exhaust manifold for a 98. It's got the cat built in to it though.

Built in cat manifold is to restrictive. I will pass.

I have taken one of the 98 intake manifolds and cleaned it up. There was lots of welding splatter to be cleaned off the manifold before refinishing it.
Suzukisport offers a 47mm throttle body for this 98 1.3L SOHC 16 valve engine. I took one of my extra 98 40mm
throttle bodies and bored it out to 47mm . The brass throttle plate material should be here today. New paint job for the car is
scheduled for next week. Eventually I will put a DOHC head on this engine. Header will show up next week some time. Today
I will be rebuilding 2 DOHC distributors and making the adapter necessary to swap over the 98 cam sensor to the DOHC head.
2673 Throttle body bored to 47 mm with old 40mm throttle plate.



2676 Intake with 47mm throttle body and old 40mm throttle plate. Injectors are the Bosch 4 hole design. I am hoping they work better then the single hole design. Lots of welding splatter had to be remove from intake manifold before painting it.
