and that, no doubt, is one of the variances.
the cars in the sf413 chassis style over on this side of the pond were built in what we call the mk2 type from 1989 thru 1991. then there were some styling changes which included the dash and interior for the mk3 92 thru 94 model years. after 94 the hatchback's chassis and interior was entirely re-worked for the 95 model year and that body style was carried thru 2000. they also made what you would call a 4 door saloon that was built another year, into the 2001 model year, to satisfy purchase contracts that had been written by car rental companies.
for the world market cars including european production, suzuki carried the sf413 chassis type with regular styling updates all the way into the 2000 model year and somewhat beyond. i was able to buy some parts wholesale that had been left after production of the sf413 type was discontinued in an assembly plant located in hungary.
