Dick, I'll make it out there 1 day for Great AMC Day! I'm positive you had a blast!

i didn't get out to national trail raceway for the races but i made it to the party in the evening.

i always enjoy talking with the amc guys. there was an engine designer for pratt and whitney from the toronto area, another guy from ontario province, a couple of guys from quebec, and even a guy from finland. the band was really entertaining, the food was good and the bonfire was appreciated as the evening cooled down.

you took a good ass ripping. you had better get to the next one to defend yourself. there were a few comments about you making the drive to south carolina for a car show instead of being there for race day.

there were even some guys who appreciated my red vert even though my whole engine has about the same displacement as one cylinder on some of those amc beasts.

Yeah there are a few guys from eastern Canada that come down every year. I had a room booked and time off a couple of years ago but the price of flights didn't come down as planned so I had to cancel. I will get out there one year to defend my honor!

My trip is from Vancouver BC to Kenosha WI for a big AMC get together and then I'm going to Charleston SC for an AMO National show the next weekend. Then leaving there for another all AMC show the next weekend in Portland OR! That's a couple of miles I think...
