I just finished installing the new molded carpet in my 91.I bought it from Ebay 135.00 delivered. I wish i had taken more pictures that being said i will give a brief explanation what i did.
obviously i started by removing the most of the interior once i had everything out i gave the pan a good cleaning and i then installed lots of sound deadening and no I did not use any of the expensive stuff what i did use was home roof repair stuff. I believe the stuff is called roof repair it is shinny aluminum on one side and sticky tar on the other side that was covered by paper you pull off. (You can look up then process on YouTube) I'm very happy with the results the stuff works great and the cost is pennies compared to the Dynamat. Once i had all of that in it was time to make some cuts i put the new carpet over the old one and cut out the shifter and E-Break. I then placed the carpet in the car and very carefully made cuts. the new carpet did not come with the plastic bars on the driver's side and the passenger side so i removed the staples from the old one and stapled them to the new carpet. The job took me 6 hours start to finish. Sorry not a lot of pictures once i start a project i go nonstop no breaks so not a lot of picture time.
