from what i heard from my friend, it requires to be cut and welded to the stock manifold part that fits the head, so the bolts get plug ang play
it´s a hard work made by a machinist, but it´s worth it

If i'm not mistaken I think suzukird modify them to fit the gti head.
I can't remember the name they used after modifying them but maybe have a look at their website.
A friend of mine has one from suzukird and already fitted to the engine. I have pic on my phone but i don't know how to upload them.

pat, that's what i was going to post, too. then i thought about it and couldn't remember if the ones that jardamuth built were for the turbo3 or twincam.

the ones that turbine tech built were way technical. he cut off the plenum, cut that in half, did a bunch of mill work, welded velocity stacks to the outlet for the runners, re-assembled and welded the plenum, and welded that to prepped runners and a flange.

as with everything jard builds they were a work of art and from what i heard, very, very useful for making power.

the one in the pic it´s form a honda engine d16a8
but the ones from the b16 engines can also be adapted, besides they are even bigger
but the d16 is even bigger than the cultus manifold

just that it works, but needs a lot of work in the machining shop, cut and weld the stock flange ,into the honda intake, and the honda , has to be cutted to not it the hood, but it gives a extra more power along with the 58 mm honda throttle boby

So basically u shortening the honda manifold to prevent it from hitting the hood, and you joining the flanges to the GTi flange? I have 60mm TB so i will use that Doesn't sound like much work but I know it could be tricky! How do the ports and runners line up?

it was shortened were the throtle is or the rubber hose will not fit, because it will hit the tower on the shock,but it gives more power and responsevniss to the engine

you can always get a spare intake oem manifold, cut it in the runners and weld a large aluminum tube from other cars intake, such as hondas or nissans and weld the stock throtle flange.....................or weld a large aluminum tube, like say...........90 mm or 110mm (reminding the cultus intake )

Is there any proof this flows any better than a cultus manifold?

my friend took me on a ride on that car
and on another one with cultus manifold
diffs is huge , honda modified wins
both had honda pistons on the g13b engine
