At my last visit to a junk yard to pick a few parts only to find nothing left in the engine bay (Really nothing). This lonely air cleaner top case had been left behind in the dirt. Taking pity on it, I bought it and took it home. Came up with idea about cutting slots in the top for better air flow. Afraid that water might find it was to easy from the top, I then decided to cut panels out of the sides. Not being satisfied with just out cutting panels I took my (lacking) Dremel skills and voilá. A custom Speque-Tactular Top Case. Sprayed it red and a few clear coats. After a round trip to work I can say that the car handle better (or was it I had Van Halen turned up) and I almost kept up with a Corvette going uphill! Though I don't think he knew we were racing (dose that count). Pic A is the nose being cut off Pic B is minus the nose Pic C is my great Dremel work Pic D painted and installed
