If doing this yourself in your backyard or garage, (Disclosure; I own a repair shop so for you critics with nothing better to do out there, Obviously, a pro with the proper equipment would tackle this differently) Start with the cheap stuff 1st. 1) Check your ground wire at both ends.(notorious on swifts/metros/extended family) 2) Check timing belt (less likely but cheap to inspect) 3) Check spark (pull one wire insert metal item {Nail-or screw driver would suffice in a pinch.} place with-in 1/2 inch of something with good electric conductivity. crank it a couple turns and watch for arcing. 4) check fuel pressure.(at this last point if you are getting out of your depth, its time to take it to a pro. and pay for 1/2 hour of diagnostic time.) the rest you should be able to do yourself with minimal tools equipment and expertise. Good luck, Let us now how you make out and what the final solution is.
Best wishes and welcome to Teamswift, we are glad to have you aboard, Best wishes, Jonathan
"Final solution" I guess that might have been a poor choice of words.
