Hi guys,

I've got a 92 Suzuki cultus with the usual g10 engine and carb.
This is the first car I've owned with a carb, so I don't know a whole lot about them.
If anyone could help with my questions, I would be very grateful.

Is it normal in the mornings for the car not to start the first turn? Like, it will start and cut out, then start no problem the second time. But if I pump the accelerator first, it will start but shudder a lot for a few seconds?

I've noticed while driving I can feel very faint flat spots, particularly if I accelerate hard.

I think the carb needs servicing, I would like to service it and make all required adjustments. I would also like to try to source a rebuild kit for it if at all possible.

If anyone can steer me in the right direction or give any help I'd really appreciate it.

cant really help with the 92, usa only got carbs till 88.
but some basic.

restore vacuum lines back to factor spec.
new o2 sensor if its got one.
clean your grounds.
tune up.

past that, id say pull the carb, and take it apart WITH LOTS OF DAMN HI RES PICTURES!!!!
and see what it looks like on the inside. clean everything, make new gaskets from a roll of gasket maker (not silicone).

tis should be farely cheap, money wise.

past that, some one else will have to take over, sorry!
