Guys I have a g-10 metro and am putting carbs on my question is if i have a vac advance distributor do i need a spark controller like a pro comp 6al or m$d?Or can it be ran without the contoller?Please any help is much appreciated.

i can only comment on the USA version.
a 85-88? sprint has a vacuum advance carb. in my 86, the ignition circuit is in the carb (i think, correct me if im wrong)

so a 86 sprint dizzy *should* not need additonal hard ware, *i think*

there is a dual vacuum dizzy, on the sprint ER (very hard to find) that has dual advance, or advance and retard, not real sure.
the info on the ER sprint is second hand at best.

page 4D-14 (or 6D-14) of the 1986 FSM show the dizzy has the internal module to fire the coil.

keep in mind i dont knwo a whole lot about ignition.
