I've read that you need an adapter plate to use the G16 trans on G13 engines. You are doing the oposite, but I don't see a plate. Could you provide more details on whats going on here?

jus enlarge the two upper holes and you drill the block for the two lower holes and use a nut ant bolt. been doing it that way for years, with no issues even had a gti box on my J18 in latter stages.

You must have to use the 1.3 flywheel. What flywheel fits the small bell housing with th j18? They do make a large bell housing for the rod shifted tranny, they come in a g16 Esteem.

j18 flywheel was cut down n use gti/gs ring gear. j18 has 8 holes compared to g series 6 bolt flywheel.

i know about the 1.6 baleno setup but they are not so easy to come by here.
