Looking at doing a twin cam conversion on my little red shoe box. Current G13bb 16v single cam engine is running stock.

Trying to put together a build list, loads of info out there n loads of it contradictory.

Can somebody pop me on the straight and narrow.

What year is your wagon R as most of the ones I have seen are K10/K12 powered?

You'll need to be a lot more specific with what you want help with, turbo kit? pistons? gearbox? suspension???

I'm based in Sweden. It's the European 02 model with 1.3 engine. It's my daily driver so I'm looking for a reliable power increase.

I'd like to run a twin cam head from a gti, the goal is to n/a tune initially. (You never know if a turbo falls on at a later date. Lol)

You won't be able to 'Just' swap the head, you would need to swap the pistons as well, once you do that you'll be changing all of the inlet manifold, distributor, exhaust, ecu and half the wiring loom.

Have you considered getting a performance cam? suprf1y/mike from 3 tech can do regrinds on the 16v sohc, (click on his logo top left of screen) it would be worth trying to track Rhinoman down, he is on several suzuki forums and has done a ton of work on reprogramming stock suzuki ecu's, another 10-15hp would put you fairly close to a stock g13b twincam with a lot less effort and expense.

That sounds like a good alternative. With a good exhaust and tune that will probably give me approx 20% more hp.
