1988 Chevy Sprint Metro (yes, Metro, not a fake, it's real)
Search my handle here and there's probably a few pictures and some more info.
Haven't driven the car in a couple years. I put STABIL in the gas when I quit driving it regularly. ~236,xxx miles on it. Tires have good tread. Since I quit driving it, I try to move or roll it at least 1/2 a tire turn to keep from flat-spotting them. Exterior is white, rusty on the bottom of course. It is North Dakota. Interior is about as beat up as anything else. No front plastic that goes around the headlights or radiator. Everything worked when I quit driving it. Thing USED TO get 50+ MPG. I quit driving it because eventually, I just couldn't get the thing above about 45MPH. Thought I had a fuel pump problem since I couldn't see the fuel pump eccentric on the cam, so mounted a low psi electric fuel pump on the firewall under the wiper motor. That seemed to cure the problem for a few days, then back to the way it was. It'll accelerate up thru the gears no problem...but hits a wall at about 45MPH regardless of gear selection.
I've got other, more comfortable, cars to drive nowadays. I'm located up near Minot, ND. No I won't haul it anywhere for anybody...At least not without proper compensation. Gimme a couple hundred $$$ and it's yours. It's mine. I've got the title, etc. No funny business here. If I remember, I'll answer any questions.
A bit of a video I made of White Lightning a few years ago. (VIN for verification of the Metro status at 00:35 in the video, and the parts car is gone)
