a couple of reasons...

the '89 us clusters read 99999 and then roll over.

he has no clue.

it's on its 2nd or 3rd engine.

this is the guy's first post here, so he's not very good at making friends.

He is right the car is a 1989 gti us version and it rolls over after 99999 miles. It used to be my car and let me tell you this guy put money on the car and is in better condition now .I posted some recent pictures of the car below
