Did any model of 89-91 Suzuki come with a 120 mph speedometer ? I don't remember ever seeing one in the square dash.

I was hoping that they made one in the old style but since they don't I'm going to have to change a lot of stuff to put in the newer dash. I'm building a turbo GT vert out of a 91 for my brother and he wants to know how fast it'll go.

Get a speedo app for your phone or use gps, save a lot of hassle!
The dash swap is such a pain, right down to the actual steel mounting brackets on the car body are different, and the door panels also have to be swapped to match. I put mk2 turbo everything into a nice mk3 chassis and it sure took a lot of time, but it worked out just fine.

Time is what I'll have plenty of after the end of the month when I retire. We both like the looks of the 92-94 dash and i'm going to modify the 93 door panels to work on the vert. I'm swapping all the wiring and the A/C system out of the 93 GT into the 91 vert. It will be a turbo GT vert when it's all done.

If you do... You will need to drill the new hole for MK3 dashboard.

yes,
the UK market speedos came with 140mph with 9,500 tachs.

I know this for a fact as I had one in my car ('89 SSGTi)

I should even have a pic buried somewhere but whatever.

As for, specifically, 120mph, can't say I remember seeing that... but my memory is shot so someone might be able to confirm that specific display.
