The wrecker I purchased my engine from seems to be a bunch of malicious jerks. Parts missing that were discussed and now "missing" and I finally got the ECU out of my shop at work where the engine was delivered. The spot where the sticker belongs on the outside is still tacky with glue and there's greasy finger prints on it

Any ideas how else to identify the ECU? I have a *bad* suspicion that they sold me an ECU from a non GT car...

Numbers on the PCB are U20427719B and 112031-1661 (I've seen this last one on pictures of an E3 1.0 ECU...)

Two plugs, all the F3 and I series ECU's I've found online are 3 yellow sockets... I can't go look at the engine at the moment, I'll peek tonight, but the plugs are yellow for sure.

The ecu from a gt is completely different than a 1.0, the most obvious difference being weight, gt is way heavier where 1.0 almost seems like an empty tin box. Trying to remember if the plugs are way different but I can't quite remember.

Hmm, not lookin' good for me so far. I knew something had to be up the moment I didn't see an EEPROM... No "processor board" at all even!

Just ran out and checked the engine.. three very obvious yellow plugs, and not one of them plugs into this ECU. Well... looks like I need to work on a refund.

That's not a gt ecu.
