It runs pretty good, but I'm going to pull the engine and completely rebuild the engine with intent for boost. This engine will go to my 92 GT, and the 92 GT engine will eventually get rebuilt and go back in this 90 GT. The front and back seats will go to my 92 GT. I did manage to find another set of front Recaro GT seats that will go back in this car. I want a matching set in my 92 Gt. My current back seats will go back in here. This car will turn into a back up car and in the long run will be restored as well. The swap will allow me to reduce down time of my daily car to a minimum. I won't be rushed into hastily rebuilding the engine.

Again, green with envy......where's my safe space....gotta go......

Always interesting to hear a little bit more on the history of the car you have bought. Thanks for the info. She should clean up pretty well. I took a look at that tow hitch. What did they tow around?

Nope Aaron was having a fire sale $600 Byron got there first....
Found out who bought it a week after he drug it up from oregon
I made him a deal he could refuse $900 and I drug it home.
Got it running ( thats what I do) and down the road it went

Another Fun Fact This is the car Aaron wanted to install a Kid seat because weight saving swore they look like Recorros

No the car is not for sale. It will be rebuilt to good working condition, and then be one of several backup cars. Any part I take will only be short term.

I'm not exactly sure why the doors and back don't match. I'm assuming the seats are actually out of an 89 GTi. I would be interested in seeing what door cards you have if they match these seats.

My 92 door cards or whatever they are actually called match these seats better than what is in the pictures above.

I haven't really had a day off in six weeks until today, and I did paper work. Fun, fun. When I pull the seats I will break them down and run them through a light wash cycle, and sew up some small seam that have come undone.
