I've always wondered what happened to unique cars spotted on roads as pre-production prototypes. Back before Chevy started importing regular Sprints into North America, various pictures like this appeared in news stories and magazines during the mid eighties.. including what looks like a complete roadworthy LHD Sprint convertible on a MK1 chassis.

This one may be more elusive than GM's concept Sprint Turbo convertible that was reportedly sold by Barrett-Jackson in 2008/2009?

Has anyone ever seen one running around in Michigan or California over the last 30 years?. I wonder if this car still exists somewhere?
