So I never changed my oil pump with my last rebuild and since I have to wait for other parts to arrive I figured I'd change the oil pump out but I see prices from 35$ to 150$
I just want to make sure I get the correct pump so any information would be appreciated.

"The correct oil pumps are near impossible to find.
They are not the same as the NA motor oil pump. You may be better off
re-using your old one. The internals are different as well as the oil pressure
spec. If it were me, I would use the OE pump. If you think it's worn out, you
can take it apart and check for wear per the FSM.
Most online listings will list the normally aspirated oil pump as replacement
for Turbo motors, which is incorrect. You would need to verify the part # for
the correct replacement pump.

Normally aspirated engines used a gear type pump on the carbureted versions,
the turbo engines used a rotor type pump. Basically the pressure difference is
that the turbo rotor pump has an additional 5.9 psi over the na pump.
42.7-54 psi na vs. 42.7-59.7 psi turbo.

87-88 turbo pumps should be interchangeable"

I saw that in the turbo suplament but the part numbers really help.
I was only going to replace it as I never replaced it and figure no one else did before me and if they did they most likely used the wrong one,at least that was my thinking. I had planned on using some repair sleeve adhesive to help hold the timing cog in place and figured I'd lessen my reasons to have to remove the cog but now I realize torque will hold it so I may just avoid doing the pump for now. I will look around though and see what I can find. I'm not trying to make more work for myself although I know that's how it seems.
