Im trying to figuer out where my vacuum lines run to off my distributor on a 1986 sprint turbo non efi car. I bought the motor pulled out of another car and no clue where anything goes. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You have me intrigued . You say 86 turbo I'd thought that started in the US in 87, maybe an 86 1/2 did they do this? Also a non EFI, that seems to be someone's little secret project. I'd be concerned of running any vaccume line to a non EFI distributer because they were definetly not intended to see positive pressure which could potentially give you an inaccurate spark advance potentially risking detonation. Can we get a picture? Did you ever figure this out? Was it a 4 door? My guess would be run the vaccume lines as though it's a non Turbo mk1 g10. Seriously pictures I wanna see this bad boy what's the intake look like? How about the exaust manifold?

1978 Chevy monza 2+2, 74 step side Chevy, firebird,firebird,fake 91 firehawk in the making,trans am(dd),other trans am, n/a mk1 sprint, and my baby 1987 Chevy sprint turbo in red. How many run right now? Just the n/a sprint. It's not a collection it's my retirement plan.

Well it is a little secret project of mine but as far as the intake and exhaust manifolds both where missing when i found the motor. It was in a salvage yard in the norther part of Wisconsin. I think the car may have actually been a suzuki cultus. But my thoughts on the vacuum line routing was trying to hook it up with vacuum at the turbo being it would be a constant source for vacuum and the second line i would run to the intake like the mk1 cars where ran. The distributor looks like the same one used in the mk2 cars. 89-91 dual vacuum can distributor where the 86-89 non efi cars used a single vacuum can distributor.
