Looking for pic of anybody who has the turbine tech lower stiffening
brace installed on an MK1. I'm having one made locally and need
some ideas by looking at how they're made and attached.

Specifically the one that braces the lower control arm
mounts. Thanks

What?? You are saying someone made brace for Mk1?? I've never heard of this . I'm all ears.............

I seen one on a MK1 DOHC on Relinegti was not a Turbine Tech but wasn't a back yard job either
mostly for show cause our cars don't flex like the Mk2-3-4 do

not a Turbine tech brace but you see were it goes across the inter hub arms just below the firewall
again do not flex like Late models (MK2-3) possibly because trans bar and motor mounts
Are you concerned about frame cracking just above were the axles pass under neath.?

and besides just wanting to go the one step beyond, I'm wondering if it just might spread the load and help postpone the inevitable.

This is not the only one that has it either. I'm wondering if just plain metal fatigue
could eventually be the grim reaper for our little buddies.

After a year of hibernation, it's time to finally get that alignment and some new shoes,
I've been scooting around a few days wearing out the old rubber and getting my tailpipe
probed for my doggie tags, I think I might have heard the creaking sound again that
led me to find the fractures, I think it's time for another inspection.

For some reason way back when, I thought the French Canadian had offered them up, though I actually
wondered how much they would inhibit access once installed, or reduce ground clearance.
Nevertheless, I thought it would be a good companion to the strut tower brace,
and adjustable solid rear panhard upgrade.
