my resistor is shot, no luck finding one in Canada- so off to the web to search it up and compare images. found one comparable in the wires and socket, but overall too big - plus it was intended for a honda

found another one from a ford truck....same socket, exact same outer dimensions, but a different design in the wires/coils.

plugged the ford one in, all speeds work, fits right in the spot where the original one goes- no mods! complete drop in!
