Would like to paint my 85 sprint, but all the rubbers like the side window wiper ruber inside and out, channel rubber are all so bad,I can,t find any listings for replacement rubber anyone have a clue where a guy might look.

Try a parts store (O'rielly's etc) for truck/car weather striping or weather stripping. I've seen it sold in rolls for about 20+$s.

The door window wipers have to made for them doors, window channel rubber might find in a universal rubber but I dought it. Sprint window are so narrow. It has to fit I.d. and O.D. or whats the use of replacing it.

some one here had a part number that worked for the window channel. cant remember, but i ran across it on this site me thinks. its not a perfect fit, but keeps the water out and most of the wind. its prettys noisy.
as for rubber, try soaking it in power steering fluid. that should help soften up the rubber.

or you can try the brake fluid trick, this will decompose the rubber, but once it drys use power steering fluid to help get it back firm and soft. i dont recommend this, its very easy to disintergrate and have nothing but a pile of black goo.

Don't know how much legwork you're willing to do but all the rubber is still made in Pakistan for the Mk1. Just like the Geo Metro 4dr is still made new as the Cultus wagon. Get a hold of Pak Suzuki Motor Company.

The door gaskets have the plastic push pins pre-installed, so it's plug and play.

It's about $200 delivered for all 4 door gaskets and window felt.
As far as I know, that's about the only place you can buy it.
