I need the Suzuki part number for the front wheel bearing spacer that goes between the front wheel bearings on carburetted Mk1s. This part is not found in turbo MK1s. Turbos have a single heavier bearing on the front whereas carbureted MK1s have 2 lighter bearings separated by this spacer. This part is discontinued at GM and I cant find it at any auto parts stores. I need about a dozen of them. Thanks.

Once you get the cars dialed-in (compression, leaks, bearings, alignment, brakes) swap in new rubber and glass, you've got something which should last for years!

What really pisses me off is long ago I bought a few from a Suzuki dealer when they would still look up '85 to '88 stuff and order it and get it but I never wrote down the part numbers anywhere that I could find them again, and I even knew back then that I'd better write these part numbers down.

I'll go back to the dealer tomorrow and see if they can get me any, and see if I can afford them, and see if I can send you a pair.

You wouldn't happen to know the Suzuki part number for the Mk1 hubs would you?
Are turbo MK1 hubs the same as carburetted MK1 hubs? ( I'm pretty sure they are because I'm pretty sure by now I have some turbo car steering knuckles on my carburetted Mk1s and some carburetted car steering knuckles on my turbo Mk1s, and probably different knuckles on each side of the same car too.)

Went to the nearest Suzuki dealer today, soon to be a Mitsubishi dealer, and asked the parts guy for part number 9605 1355 and his computer said invalid part number. He checked on his computer for 88 forsa front wheel bearing spacer and his computer had no catalogue for that year.

For him, judging by his gesture, the matter was at an end.

I asked him if he could email Japan or whatever and get me the part and he said he could email some Suzuki parts guy in Toronto who's pretty good about getting back to him on stuff.

The parts guy says he'll call me Monday to let me know what's up with getting the part.
