I have a 97 Geo Metro Lsi that the motor blew up on me. I have a 2000 chevy metro lsi engine that i got for a good price. Can someone tell me exactly what I will need and need to do to make the 2000 engine work in my 97?

Are they both 1l or 1.3?
You can swap like for like if they're both 1.0
If it's a 1.3
You will need the engine harness and ecu as well as the fuel pump out of the 2001

97 is throttle body fuel injected. And distributor.
98 and up used port injection. Because of this you will need engine harness and PCM
off of a 98 and up car. no distributor on these so you will need the coil packs too.
