LAST UPDATE:

It's been about 5 years since the last gathering of Vancouver BC area (and Washington) TeamSwift'rs for coffee and chatter.
Knuckles used to organize some local meetings, which n1tr0 used to do prior to that, when our Swifts were barely out of warranty =)

Date and Time: Sunday May 29 2016 11:00AM to 1:00PM

Location:
Tim Hortons (additional parking next door at ICBC Motor Vehicle Licensing office)
Sunday May 29 2016 (rain or shine)
20270 Logan Ave, Langley, BC V3A 4L6

Okay people! The last time Knuckles organized a local coffee meet at the Tim Horton's on Logan Ave, there were 2000+ views of the posting and only four members showed up. Well, I'm an optimist, so I'll be there this Sunday waiting for folks to drop by! =)

Tom

I'm a maybe if I can get my rust free '93 GT engine swap done in time. It will be for sale and I'll fly home if someone wants to give me a reasonable price for it.

Also hit me up with a wish list of GT and vert parts I could bring with me (engine {and parts}, suspension, seats, mags, bumpers and skirts, etc...). Save on shipping.

So far it looks good for me, but things may change. I'll watch this thread for updates. Thanks

Oops. My dear sweet wife just reminded me that this would be May long weekend. That means that traffic on BC Ferries will be hell, and there will probably be no reservations left, even now. I'm afraid I can't commit to this one, but would be most interested in some other none long weekend time.

Scott,

I don't think I have this part, but the image link is broken, so I can't tell for sure.

At this point I have a work commitment, but things can change. I'll keep monitoring this thread to see if the meet is still on as the time draws closer. If at all possible I'll try to be there.

Bring anything you like. My car will be grimy due to the big rainstorm and highway driving this week.
:-P

Yeah today is really terrible. Worst part is, I won't make due to my metro is written off in 3 hours ago.. ;\

Yeah I am 100% fine... but... no car to drive.

Oh no. Thank goodness you are okay. Let me know if you need help to detrmine if your car may be repairable. It doesn't take much damage for insurance to write off for a metro these days.

I highly doubt I can repair it... then engine seems okay but the frame is bent everywhere as I spun on the highway #1 (the lady said I flipped once  I can't recall that one.) I will post the pictures later.

I don't have property to repair on the metro because of bitch landlords...

BUT I have mk3 swift with mk2 T3 engine installed and today I am supposed to put CV joints on it and then fill all fluids to test if the engine is starting. Oh well.

I am here with CMA so far.. enjoying coffee and conversation. My 2000 white Metro is outside in the Tim Horton parking lot.

Sun is shining and lots of parking still.

I am pretty shocked how not many that shows up. I understood that they have life or whatever... Just hopefully to see rare swift or t3...

SuzukiTom (Tom) is really great guy that picked me up from my home at Walnut grove and drove to Tim Horton to have a good conversation. He told me a lot about his project cars..

Next time I hopeful someone will come. I also hope to bring my T3 too!
