I have a 1999 Suzuki Swift 1.3L 4cyl 16 valve single overhead cam.
It will not start. It just turns over. There is no "almost starting".
I had the head and block resurfaced, cylinders bored and honed with over sized pistons.
I did lap the valves but did not alter the valve stem length to account for the head and block surfacing.
Do I need to open the valve lash more to makeup for the re-surfacing? I have them set at Exhaust .011 and intake .006

Compression is 60 55 60 55

Timing belt out a tooth or more perhaps with all 4 compression numbers that low? Your valve lash should be fine, resurfacing won't affect that particular clearance. Make sure crank sensor is plugged in, and lower crank pulley bolt isnt loose and key way damaged
