ok so I have a 93 swift GA 5 speed. one day I was mad crusing going 60 in 5th gear and suddenly I heard a little pop. my hand was on the shifter and it became looser once I heard the pop. so I go into neutral to pull over but once I went into neutral the car was reving unusually high about 3500 rpm (I have no RPM just a shifting arrow). i pulled over shut off the car and inspected the engine and under it too and everything looked fine all hoses and sensons and oil lvls are fine. so i get back in and start up the car and its still reving high. put the car in 1st gear and [color=#FF0000]once my shifting arrow lit up the car jerked BAD so i shifted to 2nd and once again when the shift light came on the car jerked bad! so for the rest of the way home i had to shift before the light came on otherwise it would jerk and also when i needed to stop i would go into neutral and the reving would pulse 1 2 3 and the 4th one it just stayed at a high rev[/color].
so does anyone know what could be wrong?????
