Hi
My 1991 Suzuki Swift Sedan died on me a couple of months ago. It was running fine since i purchased two years prior. One day on my way to work, it started to run rough, and finally shut down on me. It would not restart, I had it towed to the garage which reported back that it needed an entire new distributor. A friend of mine went to the garage to have a look, he jiggled some wiring around, jumped in and it started just fine but it is running very hot. The temperature shoots up only after a few minutes of running. I have been told that it is more than likely the sensor for the fan that has quit. The fan works fine when jumped. I have been told to run a wire from the fan sensor directly to the negative post on the battery. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you in advance,
Respectfully,
Beardsy
