It should be a 1.0L.
That year model had a sensor light which blinked, telling you that one of your sensors is unplugged.
Do you have an O2 sensor? Is it plugged in?
Later model years would blink and tell you exactly which sensor wasn't working.
Unfortunately, you'll have to check them all.
If you need more help, post some detailed pictures of your engine compartment, including wiring and vacuum routing.
It could be something as simple as a loose connection, or the switch up by the fuse box in the wrong position.
