I just recieved a set of pistons in great shape, just need a good cleaning and a new set of rings and bearings. Well I set out today to get this done so I can get these installed soon
Tools Used:
Wire Brush
Tooth Brush
Simple Green
Patience
1st I soaked the pistons in Simple Green to start the break up of the baked on carbon
Before Pic

After they have soaked for 30min to an hour I pulled them one by one and cleaned them up with the wire brush and got the nooks and crannies with the tooth brush.
Took me about 10-15 per piston, I think it turned out great
Here are the After Pics
