My JunkYard setup with added Garret T25 and IC from saab 9000 turbo, bypassvalve bosch(saab). 0.45 bar in 10.000 US-miles problemfree. Works wery well, in need of harder clutch, then more bar/psi with added fuel. Boosting GTI... How about some specifics what turbo, IC, injectors, fuel etc? <p></p><i></i>

Georges44,i use a mitsu 15g with a GReddy manifold,as you many would know GReddy doesn't make anything for suzuki,and NO it's not costum made either but costum fitted.For now stock injectors for 10-12psi of boost,chopped fuel rail works like a wonder, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator just like yours.<br>Intercooler i'm not sure but i think it's off an 300zx and i use a DSM blow off valve.Everyting else is stock,stock ECM,no piggyback,apex safc coming soon tough.<br><br><br> <p></p><i></i>

anordman: I see you placed an oil pressure gauge, but I really wouldn't hook it up where you did. Measure oil pressure AFTER the oil filter, not before the filter, if the filter would become restrictive you would see a higher pressure rather than something alerting. <p></p><i></i>

That i realized the first day. "What if my filter get stuck, i would not see it", was my thaught (beside the higer pressure, that i was aware of). I changed place wery next day whith my own added oiltempsensor. Now measuring the pressure in the end of cylhead, and temp after oilpump. So the pics is lying, i know. I love the fact that this engine has a lot of plugs in the oil path, so it's easy to do various things to the oil system, monitor temperatures and etcettera. You could also easily add an oil cooler. Remove the oil pump, tap and plug the oil path from the pump to the filter, put oil pump back in place, install an oil filter mount close to the engine along with an oil thermostat, run a line from the plug on the pressure side of the oil pump to the filter, then through the thermostat back into the 1/2" pipe the oil filter used to screw on. Connect oil cooler element to the thermostat and you're pretty much set.<br>A dry sump system would also be easy to implement, basically remove the sump pipe from the oil pump and plug the hole it connects to. Get a metal tank for the oil, at least the capacity of the oil pan, larger is probably not worse. Run a line from the bottom of the oil tank into the oil pump intake and install an external pump to take oil from the oil drain plug on the oil pan, and back to the oil tank, and you have a dry sump system.<br><br>On an unrelated note, I got a thermometer today. It's actually a controlling unit for a refrigeration system and will read temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius from PT100 sensors. I got one 600 degree sensor, think that will suffice for exhaust temperature? Installed another sensor in my oil pan. Will be installing sensors in cooling water, intercooler water, air at filter, air from turbo, air after intercooler, oil after turbo and maybe some more. <p></p><i></i>

The whells are 16"x7" with 205/45 tires. Those lights in the front is standard equipment at my model. But I really dont think they are that nice though. The front bumper will be replaced with an rebuilt bumper from another model (the blue one showed on my site). I have to do this to be able to fit my new intercooler. Hey guys<br>I just retired my turboed gti, the stats are as follows:<br>-T3 turbo<br>-custom tuned length manifold<br>-34mm turbonetics external wastegate<br>-550mm by 300mm intercooler<br>-2 1/2inch exhaust<br>-300cc injectors<br>-malpassi fuel reg<br>-bosch fuel pump<br>-custom surge tank<br>The motor is was rebuilt from bottom up<br>-1.6 pistons<br>-shot peened rods<br>-balanced and linished crank<br>-custom enlarged oil pan<br>-o ringed block<br>-graphite head gasket<br>-race ported head<br>-3 angle valve job<br>-cc'd chambers<br>-and new everything!<br>-11mm eagle leads<br>-Super afc<br>On 10 psi my car was neck to neck with my cousins valiant pacer which ran a 13.1@105mph. On 15psi i beat a 12 sec R33 GTR V-spec on the roll while frying tyres in third gear. I'm getting pictures of the car scanned very soon so i'll e-mail them to anyone interested. Incase you're wondering who done the work on this car then not worry as i done everything(apart from the motor) myself. I run a part time business called S&S Automotive and we deal in turbocharging and i've turboed 4 GTi's. The motor was built by my friend who is a proffessional engine builder by trade, but i've learn't how to build the engine myself now. The engine is now for sale but i stripped it down and have rebuilt myself but with the addition of Ross forged pistons running 8.0:1 comp. Nice little Mitzuki you got there. With the weight of these Samurais and the power of an eclipse (although the mitsu cast steel blocks are heavy) it must really just fly. <p></p><i></i>
