Does anybody know if there are any suppliers that sell crate motors for the 87-88 turbo sprint?
Got one wiht over 400,000 miles think it would be easiest ot just put a new motor in it.

IT would be nice if Suzuki made crate motors available -- I'd like a new DOHC G13B please!

:huh: They are available. You just pay shipping from Japan through Suzuki Corporate. Over $6,000 US but still available. :lol:

IDK? Over $12K for a stocker? I found out that Suzuki's policy is that if it's not listed as "No Longer Available" then they go back to the OEM manufacturer or their "heirs" and have them do limited runs. I had a part on order for over 5 months and it came in "brand new". I haven't seen this particular part "new" for a while.

See everytime I have tried to order a part from the dealership and it says "No Longer Available" the counter guys says "sorry" and walks away!!! :roll: :furious:

What about Eastern Europe? Haven't they been built on license in Hungary for example?

Even if you could just still get low mileage used motors.

Unfortunately GTi was built only in Japan. Cami man would know if T3 was built in North America or Japan. Hungary only built G10 and some variants of G13 that were never sold here. Now they are building new Swift, Splash and Ignis.
Low mileage Mk2/3/4 G10s are probably available . If there would be any interest it would not be to difficult to get the supply chain going.
