I am not 101% sure how to convert 1 wired to 4 wired O2s properly... Since 1 wired O2s is not accurate for reading AFR gauge therefore I don't want to mount both O2s of 1 wired (for ECU) and 4 wired (for AFR gauge) on the exhaust manifold. So far as I understood. buy one of any 4 wired oxygen 2 sensor that can mount on the exhaust... like this cheapest 28cdn at http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php ... 78&jsn=239 connected O2s signal into 02s pin of the ECU and AFR gauge. connected O2s ground onto the negative battery. Ignore heated wires... since MK2/3 ECU except MK3 JDM ECU doesn't have heated O2s pin.... but is it possible to use the relay to heat O2s faster? So am I missing or something? edit: I totally forget about NB is between 0.1v to 0.9v meanwhile WB is 1v-4v therefore... so this is not possible to convert to 4 wired from 1 wired O2s? Thanks. |

That edit at the end sounds as if you've figured this out, but just in case you haven't: neither a one wire or four wire OEM O2 sensor will properly run an AFR gauge. What you need is a wideband O2 sensor. Some more advanced AFR gauges provide a narrowband output so that you can just install the wideband, wire it to your gauge, and then run the narrowband output back to the original wiring to feed the ECM. |

That cool if aftermarket AFR can output as NB for ECU... I am pretty sure sure that 4 wired 02s is wideband too.... my bad I meant look at those graph... NB O2s is not doing well when the engine is rich. http://www.iwsti.com/forums/ecu-tuning- ... -data.html and bonus that AEM's wideband O2s and AFR gauge seems the best product for accuracy and response rate... no? http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2007 ... /index.php |

I think this is the one I have, I'll have to look in the shop to verify. It has output for single wire O2 as well and I think I paid $160 for it on ebay EDIT: Forgot to post link http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/MTXL.php |

I have the aem one, it works well and has the output for ECM. I believe it was the best bang for the buck when I was looking for one. |
