I got this car last year, did some work on it and have been racing full time with it this season. It's been really solid, fairy easy to drive fast and quite reliable despite turning some serious rpms for many laps. Three of us loaded up our cars and headed on a 12hr trip to Washington to race Skaggitt Speedway recently, here's the video. Raced my civic there last year and itreallt didn't perform that well, but the swift just sailed around The track this year!
My car is white with red doors, the winning car is a black thunderbird body mounted on a mustang chassis(built 2.3 engine), second place was a Nissan Sentra SpecV(this car was seriously quick for a stock car on street tires!), car behind me is also a Canadian car I run with, a corolla gts with a built 3tc engine. Swift was running about 8300-8500 into corners, coming out at 6500 so it really pulled hard.

Smoke was coming from Rh rear fender contacting the tire, I have a mk4 sedan spring in that corner, sits way up high but still dropped that corner down onto the tire due to the traction available at that track. I do get a pretty good amount of oil vapor out of blowby tube but the little g13 really doesn't go thru much oil considering the level of abuse it takes, amazing engine really.
I rarely beat that corolla, he's a good friend, I knew he would be all over me which makes it fun. He ran me hard but respects my space just enough to not nudge me, but one mistake by me and he's gone!
I need maybe 10 more hp, the winning black tbird/mustang and corolla just sneak a little bit away coming onto the straight due to more power than the swift has. I have a sr20 throttle body to install yet, and a set of 3tech cams, but haven't touched the engine yet because it's been so reliable. Finishing races is as or more important than winning them.
