Hi all.my name is dan from London.i have a 1979 Vauxhall Chevette and I just bought a 95 gti engine.i want to change it to rwd and install it into my Chevette.i have got a Suzuki jimmy early gearbox that I'm going to make an adaptor plate to take a ford type 9 gearbox.id love a set of good race cams.and some info on a rwd manifold.thanks for any help. Welcome to Teamswift, the suzuki engine is a bit small for a shove-it isn't it? I seem to recall the rally versions had 2.4l engines?

No she is only going to be a wee road car.not a rally car but in looking for about 140/150 BHP.
No I haven't seen his car.could you forward me a link?and Anyone have a set of cams?and lighten flywheel or any other good ones? Thanks dan

With the heavier weight of the chevette, your main concern will be getting torque from it

Yea I seen it after that message!!a lot of work what he was doing!! Mental.but I don't want a turbo so most of his stuff is no good to me.the exhaust manifold is the big one.i got an early Suzuki Jimmy rwd sump and I can get cams of cat or piper or Kent.amy ideS on the best ones would be appreciated.

Can you not just fit Jimmy box?
There has been many rally car with G13B engine is Toyota Starlet RWD and so on.
You have covered your oil sump so you will need to have an exhaust manifold. I think there was aftermarket one for fitting into Jimmny.
Kent or Piper will regrind yours for you but asking Suprf1y will be better for you.

If you need spare let me know as I have few bits.
