So the class that we are building the car for allows various modifications. It's not stock but not full on gut-the-car build either. We have some homemade coilovers in the front and some custom shocks in the rear. The tires are 225/45/13 Hoosiers. Very sticky. There's a lot of G-forces in that pic and I'm happy that the car remains so flat. So for that class we are allowed to use any Sprint bodyparts made from 1985-1988. We removed trim pieces to save weight. The front headlights are from a 1988 ER Sprint because they are lighter. Other little things like passenger mirror blockoff plate so we could take off the sideview mirror. Car weighs about 1490 lbs in race trim and that is with the interior still in tack. Lightweight race seats. A/C, radio removed. But we have to keep stock engine and turbo so we're still working on getting more power out of that. So far just a boost controller.

Another fun picture for you. Here's the Chevysuki at the last race with several of it's bigger cousins. I got no Chevy love from those guys but maybe that's because I beat all of them ha.

after I read your thread......... I can't ever recall see this issue on any of my cars
and went to look at my current fleet still never seen them their frame horns crack like that
defiantly scary and will be on the look out from here out...Thanks for the heads-up
