No.
The 3cyl. cams are already further retarded than they should be for just about any application that I can think of.
You will be revving pretty good with an auto, at those speeds, but retrding it further will just cost you power. Advancing it will enhance lower RPM power , and torque, dramatically, with little, or no noticeable loss in the upper RPM range.
Customers please jump in if your experiences differ from this.
Rarely does retarding a cam offer much, if any benefit for performance. I know the theory, but its just that, theory. In real world applications, its almost never beneficial to go above 110 degrees intake centerline, and ussually best to in, and around 106.
The stock metro is 114
Most stuff is pretty close to 110, with some small displacement stuff (small 4cyls.) around 106
Porsche seems to like to be around 96
