I stumbled upon it not too long ago, and forget who did it. Someone took the rear tail light center panel to the next level by making one that was clear (white) across the top and red across the bottom, which carries the tail light look all the way across the back of the car. Looked sweet, but I bet it was a lot of work and required sacrificing a 2nd set of lights to make it.

Finally found it... or at least a pic. No idea who it belongs to, but I sure would like to have one on my car.

This one I did in Photoshop years ago. The original image came from the SSGTI website.

these taillights are installed to GTI mk.3 and GLS Swifts, there are a few of them left here in Hungary.
