I own a 97 geo metro with the 1.3 8v engine. The block code is g13b and since it's an 8v that tells me it's the g13ba motor. Now I just bought a rebuild kit for a g13a not knowing that the g13a is a 77mm stroke when my motor has a 75.5mm stroke. Will that make a difference on how the rebuilt kit will work for my car as far as the main bearings, rod bearings, and thrust washers go? That certainly looks right to me, everything about it except where it says G13A. I think it's just a misprint, a mistake by the guy who wrote the posting. Pretty sure the A was done in 1994.

According to Wikipedia the G13 A was only in the 86-89 Samauri here in the states. If it says it's for 95-97 G13 That would be a G13 BA.
